Fresh seeds of Verbena x hybrida (syn. Glandularia x hybrida) Garden Vervain/Verveine (Rose to Pink-Purple Flowers).
A beautiful, fragrant perennial, with lanceolate serrated, lemon-scented foliage, growing to approx. 30 cm in height and delivering an abundance of intensely coloured and long-lasting blooms during summer and autumn.
Large clusters of showy, phlox-like flowers with petals in pink-purple to vivid magenta shades and yellow-white centres, are produced from June to September. Often grown as an annual within gardens, the species is actually perennial and able to withstand frosts as low as -7°C. It is also fairly drought and heat tolerant — and will do great within hot, sunny locations.
It makes a great addition to any flower border — but it is equally impressive as a potted plant for patio gardens or to brighten up windowsills.

| GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS |
Verbena hybrida 🌱 Surface sow on propagation compost and cover with a thin layer of fine compost (around 5mm). Fine-mist spray with clean water daily to keep compost evenly moist and keep at 20-25°C (68-77°F). A heated propagator is ideal. Non-heated propagators can be placed within direct sunlight in a warm room to trap in heat and humidity. Approx. germination time: from 30-90 days onwards.
