Licuala spinosa - (Mangrove Fan Palm) |
We are excited to offer another exceptionally rare species of fan palm
Native to Southeast Asia, Licuala spinosa is a beautiful, slow-growing, architectural palm, growing to an eventual height of around 8 ft tall
This dense, clumping palm with an arching form, possesses slender stems and divided fan leaves, with the leaf stalks holding tiny spikes
This palm is a unique eye-catcher and a must for any collector of specialist palms
It is hardy to -3°C to -4°C once established — but can also be grown as a conservatory palm, providing it is given enough humidity
