Eucalyptus grandis - (Rose Gum / Flooded Gum)

An Australian native, reaching 160 ft (50 m) in height, found mostly growing along the coastal forest areas of the Eastern side of the continent.  Trees within it's native range have been know to reach colossal heights of around 260 ft (80 m).

This tall evergreen tree has a straight and cylindrical  trunk covered in smooth and powderywhite to grey-blue peeling bark.

The lanceolate leaves are a glossy dark green — with white flowers produced during summer.

Prefers moist, well-drained soil within partial or full shade, but full sun is also tolerated.

Half-hardy to -1°C (30°F) — but it has been known to survive down to -4°C (25°F) when the soil has been kept on the drier side during hard frosts.

Please note: full germination instructions are printed on each pack.
