A herbaceous perennial growing to a height of 60 - 80 cm.

Beautiful, showy flowers are produced over a long summer to autumn flowering period, between July and October.  Curled single and double-petalled, striking ray florets (from pretty pink-tinted white to deep pink/red) surround the deep-yellow disc florets within the centre of the flowers, making for a spectacular display.

Hardy to -12°C (10°F).

Dahlia pinnata Dwarf 🌱 Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours. Sow seeds 1cm deep within propagation compost. Keep compost evenly moist at all times at 21°C (70°F). A heated propagator is ideal. Non-heated propagators can be placed within direct sunlight in a warm room to trap in heat and humidity. Once seedlings reach 2-3 cm in diameter, pot in to 3-inch pots. Approx. germination time: from 30-60 days onwards.
