Cercis canadensis - (Eastern Red Bud Tree)

A small deciduous tree from North America, typically growing to 20-30 feet (6-9m), taking around 15 years to reach this height, although staying much smaller if grown within a pot

Beautiful soft pink flowers cover the bare branches in the spring, before bronze-red heart-shaped leaves unfurl.  Leaves later turn green and then yellow before falling in autumn

Fully hardy to -15ºC (5ºF). Very young plants should have their new growth protected from very hard frosts

The trees are easy to keep small (if desired) with pruning.  These trees flower young

Makes an excellent bonsai tree

Please note: full germination instructions are printed on each pack
