Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders through Heartwood and by placing an order with us you are thereby agreeing to these terms:
Our seed stock
The seeds we supply are to the best of our knowledge true to species, variety or cultivar and are always from carefully selected, reputable estates and suppliers from around the globe. There may be a very small percentage of seedlings which will bear some variation to each other, due to the nature of pollination.
All descriptions of each species we have available are only given for general guidance.
We believe that the seeds are true to species or variety, and free from disease and defects etc. However, in accordance with the custom of the seed trade, we give no warranty (express or implied) as to the productiveness or description of any seeds we sell, and will not in any way be responsible for the germination rates and resultant crop.
All items are subject to availability due to change of season.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
We will not be held liable for any fee larger than what has been paid by any individual upon order.
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 14 days after receipt. If you wish to cancel an order please contact us within these 14 days. The goods must be returned to us promptly at your cost and they must also be within the condition they were sent in. We reserve the right to cancel any order.
Orders will usually be dispatched within 1-3 working days. UK mainland orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class. International orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail. Please see our ‘Delivery and Packaging Charges’ section for full details of delivery charges. Shipping fees reflect the actual cost of shipping, including packaging.
Shipping Policy (outside of the UK)
It is always wise to research the import regulations of seeds for your particular country to ensure successful shipment and avoid disappointments.
Please be aware that your Country may impose tariffs and you may have to pay Customs Duty/Tax before your Government will release your package; please research prior to placing an order.
We cannot be held responsible for any Customs Duties/Tax that may be applied by your respective Government upon arrival into your country.
We are not responsible for knowing every country’s import regulations — and although we try our best to stay up-to-date, it is always the Customer's responsibility to research this information prior to ordering with us.
In the event of an international order being returned back to us by foreign Customs, we will refund the value of the order, minus any postage fees incurred by ourselves.

Our logos are registered with the Intellectual Property Office and, along with our website photographs, are copyrighted – so any replication is strictly prohibited. If any of these details are reproduced, necessary action will be taken upon any individuals.
