| Acer ginnala 'Flame' (syn. Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala 'Flame') - Amur Maple |
A very sought after cultivar of Acer, with toothed, three-lobed leaves which turn a spectacular, fiery red in autumn.
It bears small clusters of fragrant, yellow-white flowers in spring, followed by ornamental red keys (samaras) which remain into winter.
The trees are easy to keep small (if desired) with pruning.
Makes an excellent bonsai tree as the roots are very shallow and it is easily dwarfed.
Please note: full germination instructions are printed on each pack.
