| Rudbeckia hirta (Black-eyed Susan / Yellow Coneflower) |
Fresh seeds of Rudbeckia hirta (Black-eyed Susan Yellow Coneflower) – with full instructions for germination.
An upright annual (sometimes biennial or short-lived perennial), native to most of North America, growing naturally within open woods and meadows.
Beautiful, daisy-like, composite flowers with warm, autumnal colours, held above the lance-shaped foliage, are produced from late summer to early autumn (July to October), providing copious amounts of seeds for future sowing.
The glorious flowers (around 10 cm in diameter) are made of golden-yellow to deep-orange ray florets circling a prominent, brownish-purple, dome-shaped cone of disc florets.
Magnificent plants for flower borders, wildflower gardens, prairie-style meadows, cottage-style gardens.
Please note: full germination instructions are printed on each pack.
